カリフォルニア州の個人医療保険を取り扱う保険会社13社が発表される。

この度、カリフォルニア州は来年1月1日より個人医療保険を取り扱う13社を発表した。

1. Kaiser Permanente
2. Anthem Blue Cross
3. Blue Shield of California
4. Health Net Inc.
5. Alameda Alliance for Health
6. Chinese Comunity Health Plan
7. Contra Costa Health Services
8. L.A. Care Health Plan
9. Molina Healthcare
10. Sharp Health Plan
11. Valley Health Plan
12. Ventura County Health Care Plan
13. Western Health Advantage

また、州を以下の図のように19のRegionにわけ、保険料が決められる。

また、それぞれの会社のプランの内容は大きく4つにわけられる。

1. Platinum
2. Gold
3. Silver
4. Bronze

概略として、これら4つのプランの中ではPlatinumの保険料が一番高額に設定され、診療費の10%のみを負担する。保険料としては次にGold, Silver, Bronzeと安くなる。Bronzeの保険料は、一番安く設定されるが、診療費の40%の負担となる。

同時に、サンプルとして40歳の人がSilver Planに加入した場合の保険料のシュミレーションも発表された。（以下は、同例を南カリフォルニアのAreaのみに絞った場合の図）
